Three Years Later...On this day, three years ago, I was headed to Natchitoches to shoot my very first wedding. I will never forget that day. I was scared, nervous, and excited all in the same breath. About an hour and a half before the wedding, I received a called that my Uncle Trent had passed away. He was a photographer, and I couldn’t wait to show him the pictures that I had taken from this wedding. I held back my tears as I prepared and doubled checked to make sure I had everything I needed. Thirty-seven weddings later, my prayer is that I am making him proud. As I went to shoot a house today, I thought about all the times I would see his yellow VW bug rolling around Shreveport Bossier shooting a house for a realtor. He would always tell me that my angles were a little much, but I’ll take that. It was just my twist on my work. RIP Uncle Trent. I love you
